Australia’s second Officially Sanctioned World Event has finished! Briscon 2024 was another great turn out where 21 players, some who traveled from far and wide, came together to roll some dice and vanquish their foes!
This is Rhys and here are the top 3 lists from Briscon.
1st Place – Morgan Reid – Old Dominion
Morgan continues to tear through the Brisbane scene, having taken top spot in the last 3 events with this Old Dominion list. A very tough list, with Kataphraktoi and Kanehpors bringing the punch while the Praetorian Guard with Aura of Death and the Legionnaires bunker down on objectives.
2nd Place – Thomas Nash – Dweghom
Tom was champion enough to travel up from Canberra to take part in Briscon, and his double Magma Hellbringers, along with Ardent and Steelshaper support, did an absolute marvel. With the tough frontline of Flame Berserkers backed up with Steelshaper magic was able to hold the foe largely at bay while the two Drakes unleashed from behind the line.
3rd – Ewan Bailey-Thiele – Sorcerer Kings
I wasn’t the only one to bring the newest faction to Briscon. Ewan came over from Western Australia and took his list for a whirl through the competition. Leveraging a fast and powerful collection of Efreet Sword Dancers and a Bakasura to push his opponent back, giving his many Wizards the room to work their magic!
