Spires Founder’s Exclusive – Hubris!

Lore:

Pride has ever been the flaw of the Spires and their rulers. But few manifestations of this pride can match the sheer magnitude of the arrogance required to commission a set of Avatara husks designed to be ‘dragon hunters’. The sheer hubris of their actions was revealed after the appearance of the elder Dragons and the immediate capitulation of the Spires in light of their overwhelming superiority. The few suits that survived that cataclysmic vault still dwell within the vaults and Arks of the Lineages and from time to time a hoary elder seeks to teach the young upstarts a lesson, harnessing power once meant for hunting Dragons to punish the insolent. This is a numbered edition, Founder’s Exclusive. Once the edition of 990 units has sold out, it will not be issued again in any other form.

How They Play:

The Directorate’s spearhead, the Lineage Highborne, commands Warbands comprised of Avatara, Behemoths, and Incarnate Sentinels into the fray. Boasting a high degree of customization and a wealth of upgrade options, the Lineage Highborne can be configured to meet the specific requirements of your forces. Whether leading Regiments of Avatara and Sentinels in frontline engagements or offering support fire alongside Leonine Avatara, the Lineage Highborne can be expertly tailored to bolster your Spire force and optimize your gameplay experience!

This model was sculpted by Michael Kontraros. The models included can be played as a Lineage Highborne. This is a numbered edition, Founder’s Exclusive, run of 990 units.

The Shikigami

Lore:

Not all Yoroni succeed at attaining the pinnacle of the Five Fold Path. Some are simply too reduced, too weakened by their ordeal to reach the top. Stranded halfway, these weakened and reduced souls would be doomed to an eternity trapped within the Eternal Pagoda were it not for the efforts of the Kototamagaku. These skilled practitioners are capable of calling forth these weakened spirits by invoking their name, aiding them in crossing over to the Prime domain even in their weakened form.

Thus reduced, these pitiful remnants lack the raw power of the Yoroni who cross on their own, but make up for it in sheer numbers and the boundless exuberance for even a brief respite in the Prime domain is enough to empower these souls, invigorating them to return to the Five Fold Path with a vengeance and attain its peak, crossing forth on their own.

How They Play:

Shikigami give the Yoroni forces a cost-effective screening regiment, enabling your elite units to maneuver around them with greater tactical flexibility as well as Charging and Volleying straight through the screen.

The Morrowen

Lore:

All of the Courts look to the Morrowen and their Hive Queens with distrust, even Spring, their titular liege lords. Surrendering their will and individuality to the Hive is not a decision taken lightly, but the solace offered in the alien embrace of the Hive has drawn those who are drowned by grief or ennui as well as those enamored with the premise of the perfectly egalitarian society.

Desperate times might also see individuals joining the ranks of the Morrowen to protect their loved ones for once their delicate elfin traits are encased in coarse chitinous armor, a ‘gift’ of their life bound partners, their complete dedication to the cause, coupled with an absolute disregard for the self, make Morrowen terrifying warriors on the battlefield even with minimal training. Their collective consciousness makes a formation of Morrowen react in unison to threats on the battlefield, granting them a cohesion and discipline other units cannot hope to match.

How They Play:

Shunned for their insectoid minds, the Morrowen nonetheless channel the relentless power of Spring, forging an impenetrable anvil upon which the rest of your forces can close in and crush the enemy in a pincer.
