Hey there, my name is Nick aka Hicksmix and for this year’s Chios tournament, I’ve decided to bring my new favorite faction: The Weaver Courts. Whilst I believe all of the seasonal courts can build competitive lists, I ended up bringing a summer list, since it’s the court that seems to be the least popular in community discussions. With the addition of multiple Kern Skirmishers, I can set up a lot of early pressure and get a plethora of cards to out-activate my opponent, which forces them to advance into unfavorable circumstances. When the opponent does engage my front line, the bonus from Sunfire Reprisal then allows me to turn any regiment into a potentially hard hitting unit for counter charges.

I originally started playing Conquest as my very first tabletop wargame roughly five years ago, around the initial release of the W’adrhŭn, when a lot of locals started picking the game up. After wanting to get into the hobby for a while, multiple people picking up a new game nobody knew how to play yet, offered a perfect opportunity. When I then saw the unique look of the Spires and looked into their lore and playstyle, I got fully hooked and began my journey into Conquest.
