MaPhi you’re bringing pure dino aggression to Chios! Tell us a bit about you and your list!

I’m playing W’adrhun, because Orcs on Dinosaurs are simply the best. The strategy is straightforward : use the Hunting Packs and the Raptor Riders to harass my opponent right from the start; send in the Winglords to score an early lead, and then defend that lead with the rest of the units when they arrive. Having said that, the list has a slow ramp-up, as the strong units arrive only in turn 3, and it takes them another 2 turns before they are in the battle. We’ll see if this becomes a problem.

I’ve started playing Conquest in 2024, together with my son. We started playing tournaments pretty quickly and found an amazing welcoming community that is keeping us engaged. This year, we started going abroad as well, having attended the ITC in Paris, and we’ll be at the Amulet D20 right after Chios. I think I already won by just attending Chios and being part of the fun.

This list is so much fun and even though it might be coming online from Round 3 we like to think that the first 2 Rounds is simply the shaking of the earth before the inevitable stampede! You’re also in for a treat as you will get to meet the Amulet D20 team in person during our event!

Pawel and Mateusz, as Judges and Designers, what do you expect to see from this list?

This list strikes hard, very very hard. Well known Wardhun Speakers oriented lists are very mobile or very deadly or both. The game plan is seemingly simple – set up the battlefield with faster Regiments for Thunder Riders Charge. It’s easier said than done, but if MaPhi does that – nothing on his path will survive as mighty dinosaurs will trample their way for the Crown of the World Champion.
