Warlords, Vanguards and mighty heroes of all kinds!
Conquest OP Season 5 has officially come to a close, and we’re ready to once again welcome you to our little corner of the world for three days of thrilling battles, nail-biting games, and great food!
All valid World Events have been accounted for, with a total of 130 qualifying events across 9 regions! Seats have been allocated according to our Road to Chios program – here’s the link if you need a refresher!
This season has been particularly special, as it marks the first time that every Region – except Region A – will have at least one seat allocated without the need for a wildcard invite!
How were Seats allocated this year?
1 Seat is reserved as a wildcard for the Para Bellum team to assign at our discretion.
1 Seat is usually reserved for the previous year’s Champion. However, as Mateusz is now a member of the PB Game Development team, we want to ensure a fair and level playing field by extending that invitation to the second-highest-ranked player from Region J instead.
Mateusz will still attend the event as a member of the team but will not participate. In the unlikely event that a qualified player cannot participate due to emergency circumstances and a replacement cannot be found, a “Bye” player can choose to play a friendly match against Mateusz so as to play the full four games. Regardless of the outcome, the “Bye” player will be credited with a win as per our usual tournament rules.Furthermore, this year Rounds will be 3 hours long to make sure all games finish on time.
14 Seats were allocated based on World Events.
Invited players will receive an email containing all relevant information and will be asked to confirm their participation by a specified deadline providing proof of purchasing airplane tickets etc. Should a player decline their invitation or be unable to secure their spot before the deadline, the invitation will be extended to the next eligible player, and so on. We encourage invitees who may be unable or feel unwilling to participate this year, to decide quickly so that your fellow gamers on the list can consider the reality with time to plan.
If you are not initially invited but are next in line, we will also reach out to let you know your current position and whether you may still receive an invitation, or if all available spots have been secured.
We want to thank everyone for participating in our Organized Play program, and we look forward to meeting many of you in person!
