What is the Living World?
The Living World is Para Bellum’s interactive storytelling platform, where the community plays a direct role in shaping the evolving lore of Eä. After registering or logging in at the Living World page, you’ll find an interactive map dotted with “decision nodes”: points representing ongoing campaigns, character fates, or major narrative crossroads that the community votes on and influences.

Fire in the North (Order of the Sword)
“Thin sheets of ice made a gentle crackling sound as his mount’s hooves crushed them in a plodding gait. Though spring had formally arrived over a week past, winter’s chill still challenged its ascendancy this far north. Trees dripped with melt from the top branches, the relentless patter of drops a counterpoint to his horses hooves, but here close to the ground the chill still lingered. Brukhard turned his head continuously, his eyes scanning the forest for a possible ambush, but his heart was not in it and he knew it. He gestured with his left hand as an awkward tug of his reins brought his animal to a complete stop, and he sighed in defeat. His horsemanship was still the target of many a joke among his Brothers. Albrecht was already grinning, his mount having deftly danced aside his awkward stop even as Brukhard sought to get his blasted animal moving again.
