Presenting Szymon’s “Buy 4 Abominations, pay for 2!”

Szymon tell us a bit about your list ?

As you can see, the main component of my list is Abominations, which having higher movement from the Directorate, a very strong offensive profile, and an enormous threat range are able to win engagements against enemy units on their own.

Because this is a very aggressive list with a large number of activations, a lot of units will die fast. Thanks to that, I’m able to generate a lot of observation tokens for the Biomancer Warlord and make great use of his ability. Additionally, I have a Prideborn Avatar, which gives me a very strong ranged option, as well as light support in the form of a Leonine Avatar and Vanguard Clones to fully round out the list.

I think my list can beat the entire Chios with ease, but we’ll see if I’m able to deliver that kind of performance.

How did you join our Conquest Community?

It’s almost been two years since I started playing Conquest: TLAOK  this is my first attempt  into tabletop wargaming where I’ve played more than 3 games. I bought my first Sorcerer Kings set by accident, only because I was buying a Wadrhun set as a gift for a friend. The Sorcerer Kings models caught my eye at the local store. After my first few games, I really fell in love with the alternating activation approach in the form of a built card deck. I very quickly started going to local tournaments, and then international ones held in Slovenia, Germany, and Italy. Thanks to those tournaments and a lot of luck, I’ll be appearing at Chios.

Pawel and Mateusz what do you think on the list as the event Judges?

This list is true car chases and explosions in Hollywood manner. Drones with Catabolic Nodes will screen for the core of the army unleashing BOOM into anything that touches them. Abominations under directorate combined with Biomancer Warlord will be able to constantly Strain themselves to unlock powerful Relentless Blows – Flurry combination that will chase down any target with its high movement. If something survives, Szymon’s Leonine Avatara’s Clean-Up Squad will be there to finish the job and fulfill Spires destiny to claim the Crown of the World Champion.
