Who are the Vanguards?

Vanguards are passionate ambassadors for Conquest, dedicated to introducing the game to new players. Our primary goal is to support local gaming stores (LGS) and clubs in establishing, sustaining, and expanding their Conquest communities. We also provide opportunities and resources to help you become community leaders, content creators, playtesters or anything else you aspire to be in support of your gaming Community. By joining, you’ll become a cornerstone of your Community and a vital link between Para Bellum Games and your gaming group.

What does a Vanguard do?

• Vanguards should have a solid understanding of Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings and/or Conquest: First Blood rules, including staying up-to-date with FAQs.
• Attend local events, run game demos and join us at conventions when possible.
• Host at least two Conquest events per month (e.g., demos, tournaments, or casual games). Share those events on our Events Calendar.
• Use Organized Play kits to create engaging events and ensure fair distribution of contents among players.
• Stay active on social media, engage with their community, and use our hashtags: #ColorsofConquest, #FacesofConquest, #PathofConquest
• Join Para Bellum Games’ online events, such as Happy Hours, and Discord Server!
• Take photos of events and send feedback to vanguards@para-bellum.com
• Most importantly, have fun playing!

How Does the Vanguard Program Work?

The Vanguard Program has various Tiers, each with its own benefits, rewards, and expectations. As you demonstrate enthusiasm, drive, and accomplish specific milestones, you’ll earn rewards and move up through the Tiers.

Consistent communication and reporting are essential for advancing through the Tiers. You can pause your Vanguard status and rejoin in the future if needed. Hosting events at least biweekly and submitting monthly reports via email are required. Failure to report for more than 3-months may result in removal from the program.

Vanguard Infiltrator (Tier 0)

Once you join the program, you’ll begin a two-month trial. During this time, you’ll run demos, host events, submit monthly reports, share photos, and represent Conquest with integrity. You’ll also have opportunities to connect with the Para Bellum Games team.

True Vanguard (Tier 1)

After completing your trial, you may advance to Tier 1. You’ll start receiving the Vanguard Newsletter and a $/€50 monthly coupon upon completing the Biotic Renewal questionnaire. Your goal: grow and support your local community!

Vanguard Veteran (Tier 2)

After at least six months as a Tier 1 Vanguard-with consistent events and communication-you may advance to Tier 2. Tier 2 Vanguards receive a $/€100 monthly coupon after completing the Biotic Renewal questionnaire.

Vanguard Executor (Tier 3)

The pinnacle of the Vanguard system, Tier 3 Vanguards lead collaborations with other Vanguards, establish regional tournaments and events, and assist with training efforts. Executors receive a $/€150 monthly coupon and are first in line for additional collaboration opportunities.

Code of Conduct

Please remember that Vanguards are Conquest representatives to their community and are thus expected to be respectful and polite when interacting with the broader public, reflecting the company’s values accordingly. We entrust you with knowledge of products ahead of release, along with inside information that may not always be appropriate to share until we have done so. Likewise, we ask Vanguards to bring any concerns about products or policies directly and privately to our attention before taking them to public forums. We require this not to suppress the flow of conversation, but to allow time to reflect, review, and respond to the issue at hand-ensuring fairness and avoiding any misunderstandings.
